SACMHA’s Call & Chat Service
The Call & Chat Service is a partnership between Public Health and SACMHA, developed during Covid-19. The service is delivered entirely by volunteers within the community and aims to provide companionship and support for those self-isolating, whatever the reason.
SACMHA’s Call & Chat service offers regular phone calls from friendly volunteers.
While this service is aimed primarily at the African Caribbean community, it is not exclusive and will welcome anyone who wishes to use it.
Any issues require follow up will be referred back to SACMHA staff. Please ensure you have the person’s consent before sending us any personal details.
